Painting Title: A Night On Nassau Street
As day transforms into night in Princeton, the windows light up and cast a magical glow from within. This is one of my favorite times to take a stroll through town as the glow from within creates a calm and soothing feeling after a long day.

This painting that I call "Night on Nassau Street" features the spectacular Tudor style building on the corner of Witherspoon and Nassau Street. Financier and university trustee Moses Taylor Pyne tried to reinvent Princeton's main thoroughfare as the high street of an English Village. In 1896 he commissioned this Tudor revival building on Nassau Street. This impressive Princeton landmark still stands today with apartments above that overlook the University and with a jewelry store (Hamilton Jewelers) below.

This original painting has sold but limited signed Ciglee prints are now available by calling or emailing. Contact me at 609-571-2200
